Class: Knowing God Teacher: Greg Lauderback Dates: Summer of 2010 Time: Wednesday Nights 6.30 - 8.00
This is a study about God and our living. Based on Jim Packer's famous book, Knowing God, this study assumes that God is knowable and mankind has the capacity to know Him. It also assumes that knowing God encompasses more than pews, programs, and successfully memorizing a few "Christian" catch phrases. This study rebels against the notion that meditating upon God as He has revealed Himself in Scripture is impractical and irrelevant. Ignorance of God may be a well traveled path, but do you really think it wise to live in a world without knowing about the God whose world it is?
